About Matec Micro Electronics

The Matec Micro Electronics (MME) group is a division of the Matec Instrument Companies, Inc. and is located in Yardley, PA. It is newly established to service the markets that lend themselves to precision, high frequency and high-resolution ultrasonic C-Scan imaging inspections.

Experienced ultrasonic experts in the field of ultrasonic non-destructive evaluation, staff the MME group. In addition to system sales and service, MME provides contract lab services to the semiconductor industry and other industries that utilize ultrasonic scanning systems for defect detection and analysis. Our staff has more than 60 years of combined experience and certification in ultrasonic testing.

The Yardley office is equipped with the latest ultrasonic scanning systems and can provide lab services and feasibility studies on your packages or parts. The MME MI-SCAN Precision Scanning System has been developed to meet the inspection needs of a variety of IC Plastic Packages, BGA’s, Flip Chips, Ceramic Capacitors, Smart Cards, Flex Circuits, Circuit Boards, Wafers and any other applications requiring high speed, high frequency precision ultrasonic inspection.
