The PR5000 is a high power broadband pulser/receiver offering superior performance and flexibility for demanding high penetration ultrasonic testing applications. Incorporating a powerful sinusoidal gated amplifier, the PR5000 instrument's parameter can be selected manually from the control panel's soft keys or via a host computer through the unit's IEEE interface bus.
Operating functions such as output voltage, frequency, pulse width, repetition rate and gain can be adjusted allowing the user to tailor the performance parameters for the application at hand. The PR5000 instrument features a bright backlit electroluminescent display and an on-board memory for the storage of set-up techniques. The pulser/receiver is fully protected against power and operating capacity overload and equipped with a front panel visual indicator.

Designed for the inspection of ceramics, composites, casings and other attenuative materials, the frequency-agile PR5000 instrument offers a pentrating power capability second to none.
