SR-9000 Pulser/Receiver Plug-In Card
The
SR-9000 Pulser/Receiver Card is a unique qpproach to ultrasonic
material testing instrumentation. This proven member of Matec's
"Instrument-on-a-Card" series is a completely self-contained
ultrasonic sike pulser and broadband receiver capable of impressive
performance.
SR-9000 at a glance:
- IBM Expansion Bus Compatible
- 300 Volt Spike Output
- Extremely Fast Pulser Rise Time
- Selectable Receiver Bandwidth
- All Functions Computer Controlled
- Includes Control Software
- Complete PC-based Ultrasonic System
Easy Installation
The Pulser/Receiver Card installs in the expansion
bus of any 100% IBM compatible computer. The unipolar spike pulser
provides a voltage output of over 300V with an extremely fast rise
time. The user selectable lower ouput level has even better rise
time. Damping is provided by 16 computer controlled selections from
25 to 500 Ohms.
Broadband Receiver
The broadband receiver of the SR-9000 offers
63.5dB of computer addressable gain. The receiver gain is addressable
in 0.5dB steps. The Receiver’s selectable badnwidth (factory
set) of 25, 50 and 100MHz provides improved signal to noise ratio
and improved near-surface resolution.
Rectification and Filters
The SR-9000 comes complete with fullwave,
positive and negative halfwave rectification. Computer selectable
lowpass and highpass filters are also available to optimize your
ultrasonic test.
Configurable Base Address
Thanks to its Configurable Base Address capability,
configuring each SR-9000 installed in the expansion bus of the computer
with a unique base address makes it easy to create multiple channel
systems.
Utility Software
The SR-9000 package includes its own utility
software written in the C programming language, allowing the user
to control all parameters with an easy-to-use mouse-driven pulldown
menu interface.
MUIS32 Software
The SR-9000 fits into any full-size expansion
slot and can be used to create an ultrasonic test system when configured
with a digitizer and Matec’s Windows-based MUIS32 Software.
The easy-to-learn, easy-to-use MUIS32 software provides the user
with capability of measuring both Time of Flight and Attenuation
as well as perform FFT Spectral Analysis right on the computer screen.
Storage and recall of wave-forms is simple.
