Matec Instruments NDT designs and manufactures customized, fully integrated ultrasonic NDT-systems for the aerospace, railroad, auto, ordinance, and tubular industries. In addition to a full line of board-level ultrasonic pulser/receivers; we have developed new instruments to accomplish this integrated concept, including the A2DSP4 High Speed, DSP based, four channel analog-digital data acquisition boards. These products plug directly into the PC's backplane and provide independent operation for high speed, simultaneous multi-channel, high-resolution inspection.

Matec Instruments offers a line of sophisticated yet easy to use immersion and squirter based scanning systems. Fully automated scan systems are manufactured in a variety of sizes to accommodate a host of inspection requirements. The computer-controlled manipulators are configured for free standing gantry or full immersion tank inspections. Features include oversize part accommodations for large complex geometries and 32-bit Windows NT® User Interface and Control Software. Color-coded peak amplitude and time-of-flight C-Scans, B-Scans, RF Waveform Capture, Auto-Flaw Detection, 3D Wire frame Modeling Of Complex Geometries and post-processing imaging tools are all available.

Matec machines incorporate a number of features that have cultivated from over 30 years experience in ultrasonic system integration. In addition to differentiating us from our industry competitors, these features provide system flexibility and the tools needed to deal with demanding applications. These features include; the robust industrial mechanical designs, closed loop positioning servo systems, multi-channel expandable DSP data acquisition, in-house developed 32-bit Windows NT Automated Ultrasonic Imaging Software (AUIS) and advanced complex contour following data collection and display using OpenGL.
