Data Acquisition & Motion Control Software Design
Complimenting Matec's' mechanical scanning systems, Matec has developed a variety of software packages, in Windows NT or 98 , for a complete turnkey solution.

Mechanical Hardware Engineering
Matec mechanical systems reflect robust industrial designs that incorporate features customized to the requirements specified by the customer. Our engineers have developed gantry and immersion tank scanning systems in a variety of sizes, all analyzed by advanced "in motion" finite element analysis software to insure proper mechanical design.

System Integration
Matec's turnkey solution has provides our customers the assurance of a quality system integration of all components resulting in a minimum of system problems and thus longer system life. The integration of Matec's software, mechanical and electrical engineering provides total in-house design capability.

Manufacturing Facility
All of the Matec products are designed and manufactured at the Northborough, Massachusetts facility. We have incorporated the latest manufacturing and assembly equipment and techniques to insure a quality product.

Comprehensive Quality Control Program
All major components used in the manufacturing of Matec products, are examined and measured against our quality standards to insure a quality product. Matec meets the ISO 2000 requirements in addition to CE certification.

On-site Support & Training
Upon completion of a system installation, Matec offers on site system maintenance and operational training. In addition, Matec can provide ultrasonic theory as it applies to the customer's application.

Customer Service Department
Our customer service department quickly addresses any customer equipment problems. It is their responsibility to coordinate a solution and get the customers equipment back into operation as quickly as possible.

Application Feasibility Studies
We invite you to contact us with your NDT applications for a feasibility study for ultrasonic inspection recommendation. Our resident specialists will test and make a recommendation if an ultrasonic solution is possible. Let the experts help you with a test technique, transducer selection and a system configuration to meet your needs.

System Upgrade and Retrofits
Matec offers a solution to keep your existing scanning system current with the state-of-the-art data acquisition package. All retrofits are subject to evaluation by a Matec engineer to qualify if your system can be upgraded or retrofitted.

Particle Size and Zeta Potential
Matec Applied Sciences designs and supplies unique Particle Size and Zeta potential instruments for use in R&D, QC, and on-line environments. MAS also offers analytical-lab testing services, and strong expertise in colloid characterization.
